Equality for all candidates

well i will keep my message short.

these links are for people who feel like researching candidates they might like and didnt know about (what's the point, idk. all of you are voting for obama anyways at this point.) well i guess this is aimed for awareness of third party candidates primarily. i just think it might be fairer if they were at least included in debates. Lastly, i don't want to stir up emotional response or anything--I mean no offense.

I am glad to hear someone is still interested in third party candidates.

And I guess I should add, for you Marylanders, that our state is safely going for Obama, and it is the perfect place to vote for a third party candidate, even if you want Obama to win.

I am going to try to early vote tomorrow. I am going to vote for several Mountain Party candidates at the state level.

I yeah, if i were really worried that Obama might lose maryland, i would definitely vote for him. as it is, i feel like i can comfortably vote for my candidate.

we had a mock election at our school today. the results haven't been counted yet. but i'm 99.9% sure obama won by a landslide.

as far as third parties being included in the debates, I'm fairly certain the Commission for Presidential Debates includes any candidate who gets at least 15% of the vote. so don't be too sad.

But aren't debates supposed to happen before you vote?

Leo, I am so glad to see that in any other state you would have voted Obama. I have become some what of a rabid liberal living in a socialist enclave in a purple-red state.

I am glad to see the list of third party candidates with the firm knowledge that you guys are in Maryland. I do believe in getting past the two party state of affairs, but things like this make me so worried that I have trouble with rational conversations about any choice that might dilute the chances for Obama being elected: http://edition.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/21/palin.sitroom/index.html

i completely agree that, third parties do dilute the main candidates chances. but i am fairly certain that Obama will win...like he said though, "Now is not the time to get cocky."

i think that the third party candidates should be included in the debates first. perhaps they could gain say...15+% of the vote if people actually knew about them and what they were about.
