Happy Hanukkah

Hanukkah is about making due with what you've got so Brian made Karen an impressive menorah out of rachets. It's the nicest one I've seen, I think.

It sure beats the one you made out of a log, years ago, that set our table on fire.

my friend and i lit a normal tea light and called it a hanukkah candle...we were too busy studying for an art history test or else i think we would've tried to be innovative and make a menorah

While my dad was not a tolerant person when it came to religions other than his own (he threw a fork when I announced that I was marrying a Catholic), he was a firm believer in holding onto everything "just in case" (Brian has obviously inherited that tendency). Consequently, I believe that he would be pleased that his old ratchets are being put to use as a menorah!
