High on the Hog interim snow depth report

As of 1 PM or so, our weather station in Ranson WV reports 15 inches, the Greenbelt station 11 7/8 inches, and the Southern Md station 12 inches.

More reports later. All stations report snow continuing to fall heavily.

Snow appears to have stopped in Accokeek. Depth estimated 16-17 inches. I don't dare go out to make an actual measurement but I can clearly see various flat surfaces piled high.

The report in Charles Town earlier was 21.5 with three more inches expected. The snow finally stopped around 8pm. We had to blow dry the donkey.

The final tally for Greenbelt - 16 7/8 inches and melting. Some drifts are over 2 feet.

Phil Jones measured 20 inches in Accokeek. That looks about right.

Some of our neighbors are saying they measured 19" - I didn't measure until after it started to melt.
